Barack Obama and Michelle Obama Blackberry are certainly getting closer these days. According to celebrity friends, George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson, who say he almost immediately responds to all emails and text messages immediately.

Barack’s campaign has been talked about by many with his innovative ways to reach that highly sought voter turnout demographic, turning the mobile generation into knowledgeable voters. Obama mobile has notified many of voting dates, information, etc, urging others to “please forward”. But one step further, http://my.barackobama.com/page/s/firsttoknow texting 62262 with the text “VP” will get Obama mobile users access to who his veep will be an hour before its announced.

Offering great information to users in exchange for voter demographics? Genius.

I’m just obsessed with the fact that not only does Barack have a phone, but he practices proper phone ettiquette. You wont find him using all caps in text messages (why are you yelling anyway!) or mass texting, he’s a classy gentleman. And that alone gets my vote. Unless McCain BBM’s me (um blackberry mobile, get with it) I’ll just be disappointed until then.
