I personally love that bands are starting to do this now. Radiohead felt a huge success from their promo where they offered their cd for free and people were encouraged to leave a donation (some even left more than the cd was actually worth).

Anyway: Coldplay’s new cd Viva la Vida or Death And All His Friends will be released June 12th (I’m very excited) and I think that this will be a little bit of good publicity for them!
