OK. Let’s just come out and say it now, I love Katie Couric and all but ANDERSON. COOPER. Lemme get that, right now. Katie, we wish you well, you’re not so bad yourself and I’m sure some other news network will swoop you right up. But, CBS just got more drool-worthy, the silver fox will heat things RIGHT up.

It’s pretty much become the obvious joke that Katie Couric will be leaving the news, but her reps still deny any recognition of it. Hey, I say ride it out, baby. Let her finish without everyone putting pressure on her, let her finish gracefully. With all the rumors of who will replace her, Anderson Cooper’s name keeps getting whispered in the ears of many. If anything, it will get a new demographic of girls and sexually confused boys to watch the news (if even on mute, heh).

Couric, 51, has said only that she was “working hard and having fun” since word broke this week that she was heading for a humiliating exit after just 18 months as anchor. During her tenure, CBS has been mired in third place in the ratings and, as a result, cost the network millions in lost revenue.

I’d love to watch those baby blues, that shiny silver hair deliver my news every night. The man is just HOT. Talk about hair, its silverish GREY, maybe????
